The first question most people have is, what is this "AmyStrange" website all about? The second is, who is AmyStrange? There should be a picture of her on the left.
AmyStrange, as you can see, is a cat, but to Dave, she's been his best friend for over ten years. That's longer than I've known him.
Cats, at one time or another, have been considered everything from Gods, to witch familiars, to the serial killers of the animal world.
AmyStrange would probably describe herself as a psycho cat, but she was also "Bitten by the curiosity of everything UNeXpLaiNed". I'm not sure what exactly Dave means by "bitten". I'm guessing he was bitten by AmyStrange and now he's twisting that around to make his arguement. What's sad is that this is all he's gonna contribute to the homepage. He says he's too busy proofreading everything I'm writing. He says this while shaking his head sadly. I wouldn't be surprised if he proofread this part out, but what the hell, sometimes he can do some funny stuff, and that's being nice.
Anyway, Dave is big on finding the original sources to every UNeXpLaiNed event in history, newspaper clippings, online databases, libraries, Universities, anywhere he can find them. He's also a true believer in UFOs and Bigfoot.
I'm the sane one. I'm a big time believer in using critical thinking from a skeptical point of view to examine the evidence, and I've looked at a lot of it, and most of it looks pretty slim, if there's anything there at all. But Dave's enthusiasm can sometimes be so infectious that I've come to the conclusion that anything is possible, it's just not always probable.
In short, I'm the skeptical filter to Dave's wild ideas. By promising to keep my mind open, I got Dave to agree to look at each event and try to prove they actually happened. Finding the original source is where he always starts his research, takes notes, and I write them up and he proofreads the final product that you see here.
Our debates are the best part. And if you read through some of the webpages here, you'll come across some of them.

Although this website is still UNDER CONSTRUCTION, we are trying our best (and as soon as possible) to get more than just a minimum working site up, but (like anything else in life) there is always something to side track us from working towards achieving this goal. We have many side projects going on within this webpage. We are happy to announce that PHASE ONE has been completed. Which means you can now go to our "This Day In History (TDIH) Calendar", pick a date (birthday, anniversary, holiday etc.) and check out what happened on that day in the history of the UNeXpLaiNed:

We're not even close to being finished with our Calender. There are still so many events that we have to first do some preliminary research on, and then attach them to our expanded "big-time" timeline of the UNeXpLaiNed. That's coming in Phase Two.
Phase Two
Is now underway.
This phase will not only involve thouroughly researching each and every event that we already have listed and writing articles (webpages) about each of them, but also looking for new ones, and doing the same with them, and eventually we'll have them all (but if you wait a week, they'll be new ones to add, always and forever), and pull them all together into one big historical timeline of all things UNeXpLaiNed.
This will culminate into having an even better understanding of each event as we dig deeper and deeper into not only the event itself, but also the science behind them, which means we'll be able to compare and write about each of them with a much more intelligent eye. Of course, we're not only talking about all the events that are now included in our "This Day In History (TDIH) Calendar", but also all the new entries we'll be adding before we can even begin to think we're even just halfway done.

Phase Three
This Phase is our favorite phase. It's where we do even more in depth research into all the different subjects related to the UNeXpLaiNed. We'll be looking for the original sources for everything, while at the same time building an historical timeline for everything, the science behind it all and try to explain it so that even Dave can understand it.
Eventually (like we also said briefly up-page), every related UNeXpLaiNed subject, will have its very own webpage, with references, a timeline, and will also include our own research, the science behind it and the conclusions we've reached for each subject. This is going to take a very long time, because we want to do it right, and not just cut and paste from other websites to our own.
Related subjects include (but are not limited to) anything UNeXpLaiNed, (UFOs, Bigfoot, Ghosts etc.), Serial Killers and Missing Persons, Science (especially fringe science) and History and Fringers in general.
We're also working on a timeline that will eventually include every single UNeXpLaiNed event in all of history, along with detailed articles about, and if we can find them, the original sources for each event listed on our timeline.
Original sources are important to us, especially now a days, with everything so easy to cut and paste from one website to another, or directly from books without really doing any kind of background research into any of the events they copy. When an event is listed as having happened on a certain date, and when you finally find the original source, it doesn't look good for your research to find out the date listed is off by two years. It made us wonder about all the dates many researchers of the UNeXpLaiNed use in their writings? We've been running across a couple more mistakes like this in many of our dated "TDIH" Calendar events, especially when we actually do find the original sources.
While phase two will hopefully be finished by the end of 2014, phase three will always be an ongoing project (even worked on simultaneously during phase one and two) and will never really ever be finished.
AmyStrange.org (originally known as AmyStrange.com) is dedicated to the exploration, investigation, research and discussion of everything UNeXpLaiNed including (but not limited to) UFOs, Ghost, Cryptozoology etc., missing persons, serial killers, and other fringers (and fringes) of society, science and/ or history.

Along with each event, we are working on a vast referencing system that will give everyone access to a comprehensive store of information, on subjects, related subjects, links and other reference materials that you can go to for more information that is related to each UNeXpLaiNed and fringe event in history we write about, and find out for yourself if what we write is accurate or not.
