WHAT HAPPENED:
THE GREAT NE US BLACKOUT OF 1965

Some 80,000 square miles of the northeastern United States, including the entire New York City Metropolitan area and portions of Canada, were blacked out.

Several UFO sightings were reported, notably some fireballs near a specific substation near Niagara Falls. This particular substation was used to direct power to New York City.

Edinburgh, Scotland

WHAT HAPPENED:
The Lothian countryside, around Edinburgh, is a famous UFO "window" where many UFO incidents have been reported.

The "Livingston" incident is an example of one of them. It involved some kind of transparent UFO and an attack by two spheres upon a witness.
