WHAT HAPPENED:
Early in 1950, Frieda Langer disappeared while hiking the Long Trail in Vermont.
Her body was discovered today in 1951.
Between November 1945 and December 1950, six people had vanished without a trace on or near the same trail. Langer's body is the only one to have turned up... so far anyway.
