WHAT HAPPENED:
This day in 1947 is the second day of a three day window in which the infamous Roswell Incident is alleged to have happened.
This event is alleged because science doesn't yet acknowledge that UFOs are from other planets because there is no hard evidence to support it... at least not yet anyway.

WHAT HAPPENED:
Loggers in southwest Washington state witnessed a 9 to 10 foot Sasquatch from a distance of 400 feet.
See also, October 18th for another sighting that occurred three months later, in that same year, and in the same general area.
This event is alleged because science doesn't yet acknowledge that Sasquatch is real because there is no hard evidence to support it... at least not yet anyway.
