WHAT HAPPENED:
Today in 1947, the modern era of the flying saucer began.
While flying a plane he owned, Kenneth Arnold spotted nine shiny objects flying near Mount Rainier, Washington. He described them as resembling saucers skipping over water, and thus, the term, flying saucer became part of the English language.
This event is alleged because science doesn't yet acknowledge that UFOs are from other planets because there is no hard evidence to support it... at least not yet anyway.

WHAT HAPPENED:
Two motorists, who had stopped near the Mansfield Dam, were trying to signal to a cigar shaped UFO. One was using his headlights and the other was using a flashlight.
This event is alleged because science doesn't yet acknowledge that UFOs are from other planets because there is no hard evidence to support it... at least not yet anyway.
