LOCATION:
Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico

WHAT HAPPENED:
While encountering an enormous, triangular UFO, two F-14 jet fighters reportedly "disappeared".

It was reported that after the two F-14s disappeared, or were "captured", the UFO split into two smaller triangular UFOs. The two UFOs then left at very high rate of speed.

A very similar incident, the San Germán Incident, occurred a little over a month earlier on November 16th of the same year. This incident also took place in Puerto Rico.
