WHAT HAPPENED:
Gong Yulan, a peasant woman, while out gathering grass for her pigs saw a
strange, hairy animal rubbing its back against a tree.
In an later interview she said, "It stood, just like a man, like this," she then demonstrated how the animal looked.
As she watched, she became uncomfortable with the strangeness of the creature. She turned and ran. To her horror, the creature ran after her screaming, "'Ya, ya, ya'".
