WHAT HAPPENED:
Vincent Gaddis, a local reporter and Fortean member who interviewed some of the older residents of Crawfordsville, found out that indeed a mass sighting of a weird creature with violently flapping fins and flaming red "eye" had occurred on this date back in 1891.
