Singapore

WHAT HAPPENED:
On February 16th, an earthquake struck Singapore followed by torrential rains which fell from February 20th (yesterday) to the 22nd (tomorrow).

Francis de Castelnau, a respected traveler and naturalist, then living in Singapore, gave an account of villagers picking up loads of fish with baskets from the pools of water left by the rain.
