WHAT HAPPENED:
England, in trying to persuade Austria to join the confederation opposition to Napoleaon, sent Benjamin Bathurst to Vienna.

On his way back from the meeting, while stopping at an inn for the night, Bathurst was last seen walking around to the back of his carriage. He was never seen or heard from again, as though he had simply vanished into thin air.

Dan (AKA DB) Cooper parachuted from the rear exit door of a Northwest Airline's Boeing 727 after landing in Seattle to pick up two-hundred thousand dollars in cash and some parachutes.

He was never seen or heard from again.
